Sewer Line Repair
If you suspect there is an issue with your home or business’ sewage system, taking action to solve the problem right away can prevent a much bigger one from developing. Burst pipes, leaks from root intrusions and deterioration of pipe lining due to old age or environmental factors are all major threats to the overall health of your sewage system. On Demand Excavation also offers drain clean-out installations.
Repiping
The plumbing lines in your home and business undergo a daily wear and tear. Over time, pipes transporting water have a tendency to leak and clog up due to corrosion and sediment within them. If you notice any of the following symptoms, a professional inspection may be necessary to determine the cause and make the repairs.
Pipes aged 40-50 years should be inspected and may be in need of replacement.
Condensation is common to see on the outside of some pipes due to temperature variations, but active leaks are a problem that need to be addressed right away to avoid further damage.
Visibly corroded or rusty pipes should be replaced as soon as possible to avoid springing leaks and bursting.
Low water pressure is another reason to have your pipes inspected. Noticeably lower water pressure could be caused by a number of things, including sediment buildup inside the pipes which can create blockages.
Visibly dirty water, or water with an unpleasant taste or odor is another reason to have your water lines inspected. Old plumbing systems can have rust or other contaminants that eventually affect water quality.
Trenchless Pipe Repair & Replacement
Otherwise known as CIPP, or, Cured in Place Pipe is a modern way of repairing underground pipes without the need to disrupt the ground above them. Excavating large sections of ground in order to repair pipes ruins the landscape and takes much more time, making trenchless pipe repair more practical, and more affordable.
Catch Basin Cleaning
Catch Basins must be cleaned regularly in order to maintain proper function. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recommends catch basins be cleaned once the collective amount of solids reaches around one-third the depth from the bottom to the lowest pipe into or out of the basin. Regular cleaning of catch basins is critical to prevent flooding and overflows.
Water Heater Repair & Installation
If you are experiencing fluctuations in water temperature, see visible leaks, or have lost hot water altogether, On Demand Excavation is prepared to diagnose the issue and repair or replace whatever necessary to resolve the problem.
Video Inspections
Starting with a visual inspection of the problem pipe from the inside, we can gain valuable information that will help determine how to handle the blockage or break. A video inspection is how this can be achieved, allowing us to view the inside of your pipelines or plumbing system with a high definition camera on the end of a long cable. This method offers a quick and inexpensive way to learn what the issue is and how to proceed.
